We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide advice and support to clients of Uckfield Foodbank within the Foodbank premises. We are looking for an experienced Generalist Adviser who can provide full advice to Uckfield foodbank clients.

Location:
Uckfield Foodbank for 2 hours on Tuesday & Friday and at our Uckfield office. This post is advertised as in-person however hybrid or remote working will be considered in addition to the in-person hours at the Uckfield Foodbank.
Contract
Part-time, fixed term contract until October 2027.
Salary:
£16,499.58 for 21 hours (FTE £29,071)
Hours:
Part-time: 3 days per week including.

Advice Session Supervisor Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advice Session Supervisor in our Crowborough, Hailsham and Uckfield offices. You will provide supervision and support to our volunteer team, review the quality of work of advisers to ensure an effect and efficient advice service to clients.
We offer advice on debt, energy, benefits, housing, immigration, and employment etc. to clients through a variety of channels, including telephone, face to face and email.
You will be required to work flexibly across all of Wealden Citizens Advice and work collaboratively with the Wealden Management Team for the benefit of all our clients.

Housing & Welfare Benefits Adviser
We are looking for a Generalist Adviser to provide advice and practical support to Wealden residents on housing, welfare benefits as well as crisis prevention and income maximisation. You will ideally have Citizens Advice experience or experience in these areas.
Many of our clients face multiple challenges, including benefit delays, rent arrears, and complex housing needs, all exacerbated by the ongoing cost-of-living pressures. With the increasing responsibilities on landlords for timely repairs and maintenance, this adviser role will be a key resource for Wealden residents, helping to resolve housing issues before they escalate into crises.
